The concept is based on the “river stones” of Nanjing, with all building volumes smooth and rounded as river-eroded rocks.
The HQ function is laid out around a green courtyard in front of the R&D towers, which maximizes views to the river. The HQ buildings consists of small rounded squares similar to the R&D towers.
The towers and HQ building facades are mostly simple glazed facades with an added pattern based on local textile culture.
The amenity podium consists of 3 swooping 1-storey volumes which creates natural entrances to the site. Two bridges tie the volumes together to a whole.
